Pit Bull With History Of Aggressive Behavior Attacks Food Delivery Driver

The owner came out and instructed the dog to stop, but when the dog let go of the bag of food, it bit the delivery driver in the leg. It was alleged that the dog’s veterinarian had noted that the owner was overbreeding the dog. The veterinarian had described the dog as being overly aggressive when the dog came into the office for a checkup. It was also alleged that the owner knew the dog was a danger to other people and put the dog in a muzzle whenever leaving the house. An expert in veterinary medicine with familiarity treating pit bulls was sought to opine on behavioral and personality traits in pit bull breeds and discuss how this incident could have been avoided.
