This pop culture and journalism case involves a musician who sued a website service. The celebrity was an internationally known musician, with multiple tours and television appearances. Three years prior to the musician filing suit, he had sexual intercourse with his friend’s wife. Unbeknownst to the plaintiff, his friend had set up digital camera equipment to record the event. Two and a half years after the event, the friend sold the video to a website. Once the video was posted, the plaintiff brought suit against the website, his friend, and his friend’s wife for filming him engaging in sexual intercourse without his knowledge, infringing upon his right to privacy and utilizing his likeness. Due to the defendant’s answer, there was a genuine dispute as to the identity of the parties involved in the video.

A number of factors go into identifying and analyzing individuals in videos. Given the circumstances of the video, there would probably be an issue regarding the lighting, the video quality, and sound quality. Generally, we use audio examination and video enhancement items to improve the video. Then, using voice metrics and facial recognition software, we can accurately identify the parties.
