Aviation Expert Inspects Aircraft Engine Following Fatal Crash

This case involves three individuals and a pilot who were all killed in an airplane crash. The aircraft was a PA28-236 Dakota owned by the deceased pilot. The plane departed at 2:15 pm from northern Montana en route to central Wyoming. The aircraft crashed around 2:45 pm killing all passengers on board. Prior to take off, the plane had been refueled and weather conditions on the day in question were ideal for flying. An expert in aviation familiar with this model aircraft was sought to inspect the engine and opine as to whether any deficiencies or manufacturing defects caused the crash.

I have consulting and research experiences in the evaluation of engine performance enhancement methods. In addition, I have conducted multiple research projects in gasoline and gas-turbine engines, in particular for damages to compression devices. I have expert witness experience in engines, including deposition and review reports.
