Job Description

We’re looking for a professional and driven Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team, who will report to the Chief Financial Officer and manage the Strategy and Analytics team. The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis will provide deep analysis in a data driven environment to maximize performance. The role offers the opportunity to obtain a ‘big picture’ view of the company’s performance while at the same time improving processes to drive forecasting/budgeting efficiency and accuracy. On the manager level, the role will hire for, develop, and coach a small team of Business Analysts.

Qualifications

  • Support annual budgeting process and prepare quarterly forecasting and analysis

  • Prepare comprehensive financial models with an integrated set of financial statements, assumptions and metrics (KPI files, sensitivity analyses to assess range of outcomes, etc.)

  • Assist in special projects needed by management and the board of directors

  • Develop thoughtful and easy-to-follow presentations to effectively communicate ideas to key stakeholders

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the Strategy and Analytics team, set deadlines and clear team goals; delegate tasks and monitor team performance

  • Motivate and coach team members and support professional development

  • Ad hoc projects

Qualifications:

  • 4-7 years’ relevant experience (investment banking, private equity, consulting or financial analyst background is preferred)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, or other applicable area of study

  • Advanced MS Office skills required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Strong communication skills - verbal and written

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent organization skills and client service attitude

  • Detail oriented and self-motivated

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

  • Experience with financial models and projections required

  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
