About Dr. Zane Horowitz, FACMT, MD

Dr. Zane Horowitz has over 40 years of experience in the field of Medical Toxicology and Emergency Medicine. He earned his BS in Biology from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his MD from the Albany Medical College. After completing his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the UC Davis Medical Center, he went on to complete another residency in Emergency Medicine at the George Washington University Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Medical Toxicology. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Adjunct Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine and as the Medical Director of the Utah Poison Control Center at the University of Utah Health. He also served as a Physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Kaiser Permanente Sunnyside Medical Center. Currently, the expert serves as a Professor of Emergency Medicine at Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine and as an Associate Medical Director of the Oregon Poison Center at Oregon Health & Science University.
