About Dr. Yedeh Paul Ying, DMD, FACS, MD

Dr. Yedeh P. Ying has 6 years of experience in the field of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He earned his BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, his DMD from The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, and his MD from Harvard Medical School. He completed his internship and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. He also completed a fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at Head and Neck Surgical Associates. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Attending Surgeon at Children's of Alabama and as an Assistant Professor at the UAB School of Dentistry. Currently, he serves as an Associate Scientist at UWIRC Microbiome Center, Center for Clinical and Translational Science, and O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB, as an Associate Professor of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at UAB School of Dentistry, and as a Scientist at the Global Center for Craniofacial, Oral and Dental Disorders.
