About Dr. Walter Michael Jay, MD
Dr. Walter Jay has over 42 years of experience in the field of Ophthalmology. He earned his BS from Loyola University Chicago and his MD from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Chicago Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology at UCSF Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Ophthalmology. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Chair of Ophthalmology and as the John M. Krasa Professor of Ophthalmology at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He was also a Professor of Ophthalmology at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, and a Neuro-Ophthalmologist at Loyola University Medical Center before he clinically retired in June of 2019. Currently, he is Professor Emeritus of Opthalmology at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.
