Dr. Vanessa Olbrecht, MD, MBA, FASA

Dr. Vanessa Olbrecht, MD, MBA, FASA has extensive anesthesiology experience. She first earned her BA from Cornell University before earning her MD from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Soon after, she earned her MBA from Kenan Flagler School of Business, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She then went on to complete her internship in general surgery as well as her residency in anesthesiology at The Massachusetts General Hospital. After, she completed her fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. This expert is board certified in advanced life support, pediatric advanced life support, anesthesiology, and pediatric anesthesiology. She is a member of the Johns Hopkins Medical and Surgical Association, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia, and the Society for Pediatric Sedation. She started her career as an assistant professor of pediatrics before becoming an associate professor of anesthesiology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She then became a research technician at GOJO Industries, Inc. Currently, she serves as a staff anesthesiologist at a medical center in Ohio as well as an associate professor of anesthesiology at a university in Ohio.
