Mr. Thomas Read has over 46 years of experience in Failure Analysis and Materials Science. He earned his BS in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, his MS in Materials Science, and his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University. Today, this expert is licensed as a Professional Manufacturing Engineer in the state of California. Formerly, this expert served as a Senior Metallurgical Engineer and Safety Engineer at Rheodyne, Inc., as Chief Metallurgist at Komag Materials Technology Inc, and as Senior Thin Film Project Engineer at Deposition Sciences Inc. Currently, this expert is the CEO and Owner of Read Consulting LLC. He is also Engineering Consultant in private practice with attorneys and insurance adjusters.
