About Dr. Thomas Clayton Arnold, FAAEM, FACMT, MD
Dr. Thomas C. Arnold has over 33 years of experience in the fields of Emergency Medicine and Medical Toxicology. He earned his BS in Biology from Louisiana Christian University and his MD from LSU Health Shreveport School of Medicine. He completed both his internship and residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Today, this expert is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Medical Toxicology. Formerly, he served as the Medical Director of the Caddo Bossier Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of Emergency Medicine, as a Professor of Emergency Medicine, as Medical Director of Clinical Toxicology, and as Medical Director of the Louisiana Poison Center at LSU Health Shreveport School of Medicine. He is also a Deputy Coroner at the Office of the Caddo Parish Coroner, Medical Director of the EMS System for Caddo Parish Fire District 5, and an Emergency Medicine Physician at Ochsner LSU Health - Academic Medical Center.
