About Dr. Stephen John Ferzoco, MD
Dr. Stephen J. Ferzoco has 25 years of experience in the field of General Surgery. He did his BS from Tufts University and his MD from Yale School of Medicine. After completing his residency in General Surgery from Brigham and Women's Hospital, he went on completing his research fellowship in Cardiac Surgery from Brigham and Women's Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgery. Formerly, he was the Associate Director of the Level 1 Trauma Center, the Director of Founder of the Emergency Surgical Service, and the Associate Program Director of the General Surgery Residency Training Program. He also served as Assistant Chief in the Department of Surgery, and the Director and Founder of the Hernia Center at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital. Currently, he serves as the Chief of General Surgery at Atrius Health and as a Staff Surgeon at Eastern Massachusetts Surgery Center LLC.
