Dr. Shannon Beres, MD

Dr. Shannon J. Beres has specialized experience in the fields of Neuro-ophthalmology and Neurology with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology. They earned their BS in Psychobiology from University of California, Los Angeles and their MD from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. After completing their residency in Pediatric Neurology at UCSF Medical Center, they went on to complete a fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology at Scheie Eye Institute Penn Presbyterian. Today, the expert holds a certification in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology. Previously, they held the role of Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford University. Currently, they work as a Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine, Physician at Stanford Medicine, and Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford University.
