Dr. Shannon Eastham, MD

Dr. Shannon C. Eastham has specialized experience in the fields of General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. They earned their BA from the University of Virginia, their MS in Biophysics, Physiology from Georgetown University, and their MD from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. After completing their residency in General Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, they went on to complete a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Today, the expert holds certifications in Surgical Critical Care and Surgery. Previously, they held roles as a Laboratory/Clinical Researcher at the University of Virginia and Assistant Professor of Surgery and Associate Professor of Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Currently, they work as a SICU Medical Director at Vanderbilt University Adult Hospital.
