Dr. Ronald E. Delanois has 25 years of experience in the field of Orthopedic Surgery. He earned his BS in Biology from Loyola University Chicago and his MD from Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. After completing an internship in General Surgery and a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Adult Reconstructive and Total Joint Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Today, this expert is board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Formerly, he served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and as the Division Head of Adult Reconstructive Services at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. He currently serves as the Jerome P. Reichmister, MD, Endowed Chairman of Orthopedics, as the Head of the Adult Reconstructive Service, as the Director of the Clinical Research Division and the Orthopedic Research Fellowship, as the Director of Hip, Knee, and Shoulder Surgery, as the Director of the Center for Joint Preservation and Replacement, and as an Orthopedic Surgeon at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics - LifeBridge Health. He is also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Orthopedics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the System Chief of Orthopedics for LifeBridge Health.
