Dr. Robert J. Digeronimo has 23 years of experience in the field of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. He earned his BS in Biology from the United States Air Force Academy and his MD from the F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He completed both a residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Neonatology at the Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center and today, this expert is board-certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Formerly, this expert served as the Medical Director of the Neonatal ECMO Program and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Primary Children's Hospital. He was also a Professor of Neonatology at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He currently serves as the Medical Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Neonatal Transport and Extracorporeal Life Support Programs at Seattle's Children's Hospital, where he also serves as Co-Director of both the Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Program and the Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia Program. He is also a Clinical Professor of Neonatology at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
