Dr. Robert Maxwell, MD, FACS

Dr. Robert A. Maxwell has specialized experience in the fields of General Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Surgery. They earned their BS in Chemistry from the College of William and Mary and their MD from the VCU School of Medicine. After completing their residency in General Surgery at Eastern Virginia Medical School, they went on to complete a fellowship in Trauma Surgery and Critical Care at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine. Today, the expert holds certifications in Surgical Critical Care and Surgery. Previously, they held the role of Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. Currently, they work as a Program Director at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and Professor of Surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Chattanooga.
