About Dr. Richard Scott Schenk, FAAOS, MD

Dr. Richard S. Schenk has 31 years of experience in the field of Orthopedic Surgery. He earned his BA in Biochemistry from Cornell University and his MD from the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. After completing his internship in General Surgery, and residency and research fellowship in Orthopedic Surgery at University Hospital, he went on to complete another fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma and Joint Reconstruction at Sunnybrook Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Formerly, he held roles as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedics at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and as Vice Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics at Morristown Medical Center. Currently, he serves as an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon at Atlantic Orthopedic Associates. He also works as an Attending Physician at Emmaus Surgical Center LLC, Newton Medical Center, Morristown Medical Center, and Hackettstown Medical Center.
