About Dr. Richard R. Iorio, MD

Dr. Richard Iorio has over 30 years of experience in the field of Adult Reconstructive Orthopedic Surgery. He earned his BA in Biochemistry from Harvard University and his MD from Boston University School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Hahnemann University Hospital, he went on to complete a fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery. Formerly, this expert held roles as the William and Susan Jaffe Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at NYU Langone Health and as Chief of Adult Reconstruction at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center. Currently, he serves as Chief of Adult Reconstruction and the Total Joint Service and as the Vice Chairman of Clinical Effectiveness at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He also serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of MyArthritisRx.
