Dr. Richard E. Moon has 41 years of experience in the fields of Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, and Pulmonary Disease. He earned his BS in Physics and Mathematics from McGill University, his MD from the McGill University Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, and his MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toronto. After completing both an internship and residency in Medicine at the Toronto General Hospital, he went on to complete another residency in Anesthesiology and a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Duke University Hospital. Today, this expert is certified in Anesthesiology, Respirology, and Internal Medicine by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is also board-certified in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine, Anesthesiology, Pulmonary Disease, and Internal Medicine. Formerly, this expert served as the Chief of the Division of General, Vascular, and Transplant Anesthesia, as an Associate Professor in the Division of Pulmonary Medicine, and as the Co-Director of the Anesthesiology, Surgery and Environmental Physiology Study Track at the Duke University Medical Center. Currently, he serves as a Professor in the Division of Pulmonary Medicine, as the Director of the Anesthesiology, Surgery, and Environmental Physiology Study Program, and as a Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the Duke University Medical Center. He also serves as the Medical Director and as a Physician at the Center for Hyperbaric Medicine and Environmental Physiology at the Duke University Medical Center.
