About Dr. Richard Alan Banton, ATC, CMPT, DPT

Dr. Richard A. Banton has 24 years of experience in Physical Therapy. He earned his BS in Sports Medicine from Marietta College, and then both his MPT and his DPT from Shenandoah University. Today, this expert is certified as a Manual Physical Therapist by the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, an Athletic Trainer by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer, and is licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia. Formerly, this expert served as a Physical Therapist at Spine and Sports Physical Therapy and Reston Therapy & Fitness Center. He also served as the Co-Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at Virginia Therapy and Fitness Center. Currently, this expert is a Clinical Instructor at the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments, an Adjunct Professor at Shenandoah University, and the Owner of Infinity Performance and Physical Therapy.
