Dr. Rajeev Dhupar, MD, MBA

Dr. Rajeev Dhupar has specialized experience in the fields of Thoracic Surgery, General Surgery, and Cardiothoracic Surgery. They earned their BA in Molecular Biology from the University of Pennsylvania, their MBA in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh, and their MD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. They completed residencies in Thoracic Surgery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and in General Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. They went on to complete a fellowship in Thoracic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Today, the expert is board-certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery and Surgery. Previously, they held roles as an Assistant Professor and an Associate Professor of Thoracic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Currently, they work as a Thoracic Surgeon at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and as an Assistant Vice President for Research and Education at the Veterans Administration Pittsburgh Health System.
