Prof. Larry Collins, ATC, PA-C, MPAS, DFAAPA

Dr. Lawrence Collins has over 30 years of experience as a Physician Assistant. He earned his BS in Biology from the University of South Florida and his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Athletic Training. He is active in his field as a member of several professional societies including the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, the National Athletic Trainers' Association, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. He also contributes to research in his field as the author of 10 peer-reviewed journal publications and 3 book chapters. Formerly, this expert held roles as a Physician Assistant in the Department of Orthopaedics at Florida Orthopaedic Institute and as the Head Athletic Trainer for the USA Baseball in the United States Olympics. Currently, he serves as a Physician Assistant at Tampa General Hospital, Florida Hospital Tampa and USF Health Morsani College of Medicine along with being the Associate Director of the Physician Assistant Program at USF Health Morsani College of Medicine.
