Dr. Paula Ferrada, MD, FACS, FCCM

Dr. Paula A. Ferrada has specialized experience in the fields of General Surgery, Trauma Surgery, Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Acute Care Surgery. They earned their MD from Universidad del Valle, Cali. After completing their residency in General Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, they went on to complete a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at the University of Pittsburgh. Today, the expert holds certifications in Surgical Critical Care and Surgery. Previously, they held roles as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor of Surgery, and Professor of Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University. Currently, they work as a Medical Director of Perioperative Services and Chair at Inova Fairfax Hospital.
