About Dr. Paul Denney Allen, MD, PhD
Dr. Paul D. Allen has 45 years of experience in the field of Anesthesiology. He earned his BA in Medical Sciences from Boston University, his MD from the Boston University School of Medicine, and his Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Florida. He completed an internship in Surgery at Boston City Hospital and his residency in Anesthesia at Tufts Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Anesthesiology. Formerly, this expert served as an Adjunct Professor of Anesthesia and Pain Medicine at the UC Davis School of Medicine, as an Adjunct Professor of Molecular Biosciences at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, and as a Professor of Anesthesia at Harvard Medical School. He currently serves as a Professor of Anesthesiology and as the Director of the Anesthesiology Research Division at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine. He is also a Professor Emeritus of Anesthesia at Harvard Medical School.
