About Dr. Murray Jack Gilman, MDCM

Dr. Murray J. Gilman has 44 years of experience in the field of Pulmonology. He earned his BS from McGill University and his MDCM from the McGill University Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. After completing an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Pulmonary Disease at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease through the American Board of Internal Medicine. Prior to his retirement in July of 2015, he served as an Associate Professor in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at the Emory University School of Medicine and as a Pulmonologist at Grady Memorial Hospital. He also served as the Medical Director of the 5J Intensive Care Step-Down Unit, Pulmonary Clinic, 7J Medical Intensive Care Unit, and the Respiratory Intensive Care Unit at Grady Memorial Hospital.
