Ms. Emily Goodman Shortall

This commercial property management expert received her BA from Elon University. She is certified in property management, commercial investigation, and apartment portfolio supervision. This expert has received awards for her work as a commercial property manager, including receiving the Commercial Property Manager of the Year award from the Piedmont Triad Institute of Real Estate Management and the Professional Achievement Award from the Institute of Real Estate Management. She is an author of the Journal of Property Management and formerly served as an associate general manager of General Growth Properties and as an asset manager and regional vice president of CORE Realty Holdings Management. She most recently served as the president and founder of Harvey Goodman Realtor Property Management before moving on to her current role as an adjunct professor of real estate at a college in Ohio. While serving as the president, she managed daily operations, maintained tenant and contractor relations, negotiated service contracts, and supervised maintenance and repairs.
