About Dr. Michael Kevin Cheezum, FACC, FSCCT, MD
Dr. Michael K. Cheezum has 7 years of experience in the field of Cardiovascular Diseases. He earned his BS in Engineering Sciences from the University of Virginia and his MD from the Boston University School of Medicine. After completing an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and a second fellowship in Noninvasive Cardiovascular Imaging at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. Today, this expert is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease, in Nuclear Cardiology, in Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, and in Adult Echocardiography. Formerly, this expert served in the United States Army until he as honorably discharged. He also served as a Staff Cardiologist at the Billings Clinic, at Capital Cardiology Associates, at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, and at the Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, where he also served as the Director of Cardiovascular Imaging and Research. He was also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He currently serves as a Staff Cardiologist for Parkview Health.
