About Dr. Michael Anthony Manka Jr, FAAEM, FACEP, MD

Dr. Michael A. Manka Jr has 24 years of experience in the field of Emergency Medicine. He earned his BS from the University of Michigan and his MD from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Buffalo. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Buffalo General Medical Center and today, this expert is board certified in Emergency Medicine through the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Formerly, this expert served as the Associate Director of Emergency Medicine and as the Director of Quality Assurance and Improvement in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Erie County Medical Center. He was also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Buffalo. He currently serves as the Treasurer of the Medical-Dental Staff, as an Attending Physician in the Emergency Department, and as Chief of the Emergency Department at Erie County Medical Center. He is also an Emergency Medicine Physician with UBMD Physicians' Group. Moreover, he is the Vice-Chair of Emergency Medicine and a Clinical Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Buffalo.
