Dr. Michael Silverman, MD, MPH, FACP

Dr. Michael A. Silverman has specialized experience in the fields of Hematology & Oncology, Geriatrics, Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and Medical Oncology. They earned their BS in Zoology from the University of Maryland, College Park, their MPH from the University of Miami, and their MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. After completing their residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center, they went on to complete a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. Today, the expert holds certifications in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Medical Oncology, Geriatric Medicine, Internal Medicine, and as a Hospice Medical Director. Previously, they held roles as a Colonel at the United States Army Reserve, Medical Director at Douglas Gardens Hospice, and Medical Director at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care. Currently, they work as a Physician and Chief of Geriatrics and Extended Care at West Palm Beach VA Medical Center and Clinical Affiliate Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine.
