About Dr. Melody Werner
This expert has over 20 years of experience in Title IX administration and compliance. She earned her BS, MA and Ed.D from Eastern Michigan University. She is a member of the NCAA Research Review Board and previously served as the Senior Associate Director of athletics and administration at Eastern Michigan University. In this capacity, she served as a university Title IX Deputy and supervised 11 sports, managed NCAA and Title IX compliance, student-athlete academic support and student conduct. She is currently a Title IX coordinator at a university in Michigan where she oversees all investigations and adjudications of Title IX complaints against students, faculty and staff.
