Dr. Matthew Hanasono, MD, FACS

Dr. Matthew M. Hanasono has specialized experience in the fields of Plastic Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Otolaryngology. They earned their BS in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles and their MD from Stanford University School of Medicine. After completing their residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine, they went on to complete a fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Today, the expert holds certifications in Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. Previously, they held the role of Fellowship Program Director at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Currently, they work as a Reconstructive Surgeon, Professor, and Deputy Chair at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
