Dr. Matthew Flaherty, MD

Dr. Matthew L. Flaherty has specialized experience in the fields of Vascular Neurology and Neurology. They earned their BS in Neuroscience from Texas Christian University and their MD from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. After completing their residency in Neurology at Mayo Clinic - Rochester, they went on to complete a fellowship in Vascular Neurology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Today, the expert holds certifications in Vascular Neurology and Neurology. Previously, they held roles as an Associate Professor of Clinical-Geographic in the Department of Neurology, Associate Professor of Clinical-Geographic in the Department of Neurology & Rehabilitation Medicine, and Associate Professor of Clinical-Geographic in the Division of Cerebrovascular Disease/Stroke at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Currently, they work as a Professor of Clinical Neurology in the Division of Cerebrovascular Disease/Stroke at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and Founder and Clinical Director at Sense Diagnostics, Inc.
