Dr. Mark Fitzgerald, MD, PhD

Dr. Mark P. Fitzgerald has over 10 years of experience in the field of Child Neurology and Epilepsy. He earned his B.S. in Psychology, Philosophy, and Neuroscience from the University of Scranton and his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Virginia, where he also earned his M.D. After completing his residency in Pediatrics and Child Neurology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, he completed a fellowship in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology at the same institution. Dr. Fitzgerald is board certified in child neurology and epilepsy. Formerly, Dr. Fitzgerald held roles as Chief Resident in Child Neurology and as an Attending Physician in the Pediatric Regional Epilepsy Program at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Currently, he serves as Associate Medical Director of Neurophysiology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
