Dr. Maria Raven, MD, MPH, MS

Dr. Maria C. Raven has specialized experience in the fields of Emergency Medicine, Emergency Medical Services, and Health Policy & Administration. They earned their BA in History from the University of California, Berkeley, MS in Public Health and Medicine from NYU Grossman School of Medicine, MD from Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine, and MPH in Epidemiology from Oregon Health and Science University. They went on to complete a residency in Emergency Medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue. Today, the expert holds a certification in Emergency Medicine. Previously, they held roles as an Assistant Professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, a Course Director at the University of California College of the Law, and a Research Fellowship Director at University of California, San Francisco. Currently, they work as an Attending Physician at UCSF Helen Diller Medical Center at Parnassus Heights, the Chief of Emergency Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, and an Associate Professor at UCSF School of Medicine.
