Dr. Marcelo Hochman has 31 years of experience in the field of Otolaryngology. He earned his BA in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and his MD from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio. After completing his internship in General Surgery and his residency in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at Stanford University Medical Center, he went on to complete two fellowships in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Washington University in Saint Louis and in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Arkansas Children's Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Associate Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Currently, he serves as the Facial Plastic Surgeon at MUSC Children's Health R. Keith Summey Medical Pavilion, as the Founder and Medical Director at Hemangioma & Malformations Treatment Center, as Clinical Faculty and a Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina, and as the Plastic Surgeon at The Facial Surgery Center.
