Dr. Lowell Anthony, MD, FACP

Dr. Lowell Anthony, MD, FACP earned his BS from King College and his MD from Vanderbilt University after completing both his internship and residency in internal medicine, he went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in medical oncology at Vanderbilt University. He is very active in his field as a member of numerous medical societies including the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Federation for Medical Research, the American Association for Cancer Research, the American Society of Hematology, and Southwest Oncology Group. Formerly he has held roles as an assistant professor of medicine at Vanderbilt University, a staff physician at the VA Medical Center in Nashville, and as associate professor of medicine and director of gastrointestinal and neuroendocrine oncology at Louisiana State University. Additionally, he served as a professor of hematology at Louisiana State University and as an attending physician at the Medical Center of Louisiana at New Orleans. Currently, he is a physician at a medical center in Kentucky and professor and chief of medical oncology at a top medical school in Kentucky.
