Dr. Lawrence Lee, MD, MBA

Dr. Lawrence Lee, MD, MBA has extensive experience in the field of cardiothoracic surgery. He earned his BS from Haverford College, his MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business, and his MD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed two residencies in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital Harvard Medical School, followed by a fellowship in cardiac surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital Harvard Medical School. Today, this expert is board certified in surgery and thoracic surgery and is a member of the American College of Surgeons and Thoracic Surgery Directors Association. He has published 39 journals, seven articles, and six book chapters, and participated in 18 presentations. He previously worked as a program director of thoracic surgery residency programs and assistant professor of clinical surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine. He later served as an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Tennessee School of Medicine. Currently, he serves as working as a surgical director of the hybrid arrhythmia program at a hospital and medical center and as an associate professor of surgery at a university, both in Massachusetts. He is also a cardiovascular surgery staff member and the founder and director of enhanced recovery after cardiac surgery for a university health system in Indiana.
