About Dr. Lawrence Howard Schwartz, MD

Dr. Lawrence H. Schwartz has 30 years of experience in the field of Diagnostic Radiology. He earned his BA from Boston University and his MD from Boston University School of Medicine. After completing his internship in Internal Medicine at NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island and his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, he went on to complete his fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology. Formerly, this expert held roles as Vice Chairman of Technology Development in the Department of Radiology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and as the Interim Chairman of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Currently, he serves as James Picker Professor and Chairman of the Department of Radiology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
