About Dr. Laura Ann Jansen, MD, PhD

Dr. Laura A. Jansen has 19 years of experience in the field of Neurology. She earned her BA from Northwestern University, her Ph.D. from Saint Louis University, and her MD from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. After completing her Residency in Pediatrics at Washington University School of Medicine, she went on to complete another Residency in Pediatric Neurology at Washington University School of Medicine. Today, this expert is board certified in Epilepsy and Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Associate Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis where she also served as the Co-Director of the Tuberous Sclerosis Clinic. Currently, she is an Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Virginia and a Clinician Physician of Neurology at UVA Physicians Group.
