Dr. Joseph Dayan, MD

Dr. Joseph Dayan has years of experience in Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiac Anesthesiology and Pediatric Critical Care. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and his Doctor of Medicine from St. George's University School of Medicine. After completing his residency in General Pediatrics at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, he completed a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital and a fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Dayan is board certified in general pediatrics, pediatric critical care, general anesthesiology, and pediatric anesthesiology. He formerly held roles as Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology at the University of Miami School of Medicine and as Attending Physician in the Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology at Nemours Specialty Care. Currently, he serves as Program Director of the Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship at the University of Miami and as Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care.
