Dr. Joseph Tobias, MD

Dr. Joseph D. Tobias has specialized experience in Anesthesiology and Pediatrics with expertise in Critical Care Medicine, Pediatric Anesthesiology, and Pain Medicine. They earned their BA in Biology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and their MD from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. After completing their residency in Anesthesiology, they went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Today, the expert holds board certifications in Anesthesiology, Pediatrics, Pediatric Anesthesiology, Critical Care Medicine, and Pain Medicine. Previously, they held roles as the Director of Pediatric Pain Management Service at Vanderbilt University, as the Vice Chairman in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Missouri, and as an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. Currently, they work as Chief in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and Attending Physician at Nationwide Children's Hospital and as an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the Departments of Anesthesiology and Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
