About Dr. José Antonio Stoute, MD

Dr. José Antonio Stoute has 27 years of experience in the field of Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. He earned his BA in Biology from the University of South Florida and his MD from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University Hospital, he went on to complete his fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Today, this expert is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Associate Professor of Medicine, and in the Department of Microbiology, and Immunology at Penn State University College of Medicine and as an Associate Professor of Medicine at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Currently, he serves as a Professor in the Department of Medicine, and the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Penn State University College of Medicine.
