Dr. John Lovecchio, MD, MS, FACS, FACOG

Dr. John L. Lovecchio has specialized experience in the fields of Gynecologic Oncology and Obstetrics & Gynecology. They earned their BS in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Boston, their MD from the University of Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and their MS in Radiation Biology from Long Island University. After completing their residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University Hospitals of Cleveland, they went on to complete a fellowship in Anatomy at the University of Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Today, the expert holds a certification in Gynecologic Oncology. Previously, they held roles as a Research Assistant at Nassau University Medical Center, an Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and the Director of Gynecologic Oncology at North Shore University Hospital. Currently, they work as an Attending Physician at North Shore University Hospital, a Professor Emeritus at Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, and an Obstetrician/Gynecologist at Sun River Health.
