About Dr. John Kazimierz Czerwein Jr, MD

Dr. John Czerwein has nearly 15 years of experience in the field of Orthopedic Spine Surgery. He completed his BS from Providence College and his MD from Chicago Medical School, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science. After completing his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Orthopedic Spine Surgery at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Today, this expert is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery. He is active in his field as a member of several professional societies including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, and the Rhode Island Medical Society. He also contributes to research in his field as the author of several peer-reviewed journal publications and book chapters. Currently, he serves as Chief of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Landmark Medical Center and as Medical Director of the Spine Division at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital.
