About Dr. John Joseph Stern, FACP, MD

Dr. John Stern has over 34 years of experience in the fields of Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. He earned his BS from the University of Wisconsin and his MD from NYU Grossman School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, he went on to complete a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Today, this expert is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. Formerly, this expert held roles as a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at both the Thomas Jefferson University and the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, and as Chief of Infectious Disease at Pennsylvania Hospital. Currently, he serves as a Staff Physician at Pennsylvania Hospital and as a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
