About Dr. John Hyung Shim, FACS, MD

Dr. John Shim has over 29 years of experience in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery. He earned his BS in Economics and Life Sciences from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, his MD from SUNY Upstate Medical University College of Medicine, and his MBA in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the University of South Florida. After completing his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Spine Surgery at New England Baptist Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Chief of Surgery at Mease Countryside Hospital and Mease Dunedin Hospital.
