Dr. Joel Fishbain, MD, FACP, FIDSA

Dr. Joel T. Fishbain has specialized experience in the fields of Infectious Disease and Epidemiology. They earned their BA in Chemistry from Washington University in St. Louis and their MD from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. After completing their residency in Internal Medicine at Madigan Army Medical Center, they went on to complete a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Today, the expert holds certifications in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine. Previously, they held roles as a Clinical Faculty at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Central Michigan University College of Medicine, and Infectious Disease Director at Select Specialty Hospital. Currently, they work as an Associate Professor of Medicine at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, Infectious Diseases Physician at Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital, and Medical Director of Infection Prevention and Hospital Epidemiology at Beaumont Health Systems.
