About Dr. Joel Michael Bartfield, FACEP, MD

Dr. Joel Michael Bartfield has 32 years of experience in the field of Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine. He earned his BS from Trinity College in Connecticut and his MD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. After completing his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Vermont Medical Center, he went on to complete another residency in Emergency Medicine at Jacobi Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine. Formerly, this expert held roles as a Residency Program Director in the department of Emergency Medicine at Albany Medical College and as an Assistant Dean at Albany Medical College. Currently, he serves as an Attending Physician at Albany Medical Center and Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Albany Medical College where he also serves as Associate Dean of Graduate Education.
