About Dr. Joel Maxim Silberberg, MD
Dr. Joel M Silberberg has over 40 years of experience in the field of Forensic Psychiatry. He earned his MBChB from the University of the Witwatersrand. After completing his internship in Internal Medicine at Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital and completed his residency in Psychiatry at Stritch School of Medicine, Loyola University of Chicago. Today, this expert is board certified in Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry. He previously served as the Director of the Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship Training Program and the Director of the Division of Psychiatry and Law at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He also served as a Professor of Psychiatry at University of Nevada School of Medicine and University of Florida College of Medicine as well as the Chief of the Division of Forensic Psychiatry. Currently, he serves as a Consultant in Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry at his Private Practice.
