Dr. Joel L. Kent has 27 years of experience in the fields of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Anesthesiology, and Pain Medicine. He earned his BS from Stetson University and his MD from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He completed a residency in Family Medicine at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center before completing another residency in Anesthesiology and a fellowship in Pain Management at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Formerly, this expert served as Chief of the Pain Medicine Division, as Director of the Pain Treatment Center, and as the Director of the Pain Medicine Fellowship Program at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He currently serves as a Part-Time Professor of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine and of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
